Select an image already in your photo library. Useful if you've already photographed your notes.

Create your card directly in the app by typing questions and answers. Full control over content.

Flexible Column System

Each card can have between 2 and 6 columns, with different roles:

Type Role Example
Question Displayed as question, user must find the answer "What is the capital of France?"
Answer What the user must type "Paris"
Info Context or hint, never questioned "Western Europe, 67 million inhabitants"
Bidirectional Questioned in both directions "book" โ†” "livre" (English-French)

๐Ÿ’ก Tip for Vocabulary

For learning foreign language vocabulary, use the Bidirectional type for word columns. You'll be quizzed both ways: foreign word โ†’ native AND native โ†’ foreign word.

Creation Steps

Choose the Source

Scan, photo, or manual entry. Select the appropriate preset (Standard, Dictionary, Vocabulary).

Configure Columns

Add or remove columns (2-6). Set the title, type, and language for each column.

Enter Content

Fill in the rows. If you scanned, check and correct any recognition errors.

Save

Name your card, choose the category, and save.

OCR Tips (Text Recognition)

Optical character recognition (OCR) works best with:

  • Clear, high-contrast printed text
  • Tables with sharp borders
  • Good lighting, no shadows
  • Well-aligned document (not tilted)
  • Standard fonts

โŒ Don't

  • Handwritten text
  • Blurry or dark images
  • Complex tables with merged cells
  • Decorative fonts
  • Damaged or wrinkled documents

โš ๏ธ Always Check the Result

OCR can make mistakes. Carefully review your card before saving, especially for accents and special characters.
